December 15, 2025 — A New Era of Dely Kit, App Split, & Redesign

This is the biggest evolution of Dely Kit yet. We have completely overhauled the application architecture to make it significantly faster, lighter, and more focused.

Major Changes

  • App Separation (The Great Split):

    • Dely Compare and Dely Terbilang have now "graduated" to become standalone web applications with their own dedicated domains and features.
    • Dely Kit returns to its roots: a super-lightweight Swiss Army Knife for daily text manipulation.

  • New "Blue Glass" Design:

    • The user interface has been completely redesigned with a fresh, clean, and modern Blue Glass theme.
    • New navigation with typography-based icons ("Aa", "W") for faster and more intuitive tool access.
    • Interface animations have been sped up for a snappier user experience.

Performance Improvements

  • Massive Code Diet:
    • We removed heavy libraries (such as PDF and Excel processors) from the main Dely Kit as those features moved to standalone apps.
    • The result? Page load times have been reduced. The app now feels instant, even on slow connections.

Features & Tools

  • Focus on 4 Core Tools:
    • The Homepage now gives immediate access to the 4 essential tools: Case Converter, Text Cleaner, Text Sorter, and Word Counter.
    • Text Cleaner and Sorter now have improved visibility right from the front page.

November 15, 2025 — New Case Formats, Major UI Upgrades, and Text Tool Updates

This update focuses on two main things: adding more formats to the Case Converter and performing visual improvements to make the interface more consistent, modern, and easier to use across all tools.

New Features

  • Case Converter: Three New Text Formats

    • The Case Converter now gets three new practical conversion formats:
      • #hashtag case: Converts your text into hashtags (example: my text -> #my #text).
      • Random Case: RANdOmly ChanGEs THe cASe OF LETtErS.
      • COBOL-CASE: CONVERTS EVERYTHING TO UPPERCASE WITH HYPHENS (example: my text -> MY-TEXT).

  • Show/Hide "Find & Replace"

    • The Find & Replace button in the editor toolbar (used in Text Cleaner & Case Converter) is now a toggle. You can click it to show the "Find & Replace" bar, and click it again to hide it.

  • Keyword Density UI Update (Word Counter)

    • It now features separate tabs to analyze 1-word, 2-word, and 3-word phrases individually.

Improvements & Fixes

  • Consistent Design and UI

    • We have made visual improvements across the entire application.
    • All buttons, pop-up views (modals), input forms, and alert boxes now have a uniform and aligned design.

  • Cleaner Case Converter Toolbar

    • To accommodate the new formats and clean up the interface, the toolbar in the Case Converter has been updated.
    • The "Advanced" and "Programming" options are now grouped into tidy dropdown menus, making the toolbar cleaner and easier to navigate.
    • This toolbar is now located above the text editor, making its buttons easier to access.

  • Accessibility and Translations

    • Keyboard navigation has been improved with clearer visual focus states.
    • Added descriptive labels to various elements for better screen reader support.
    • Updated Indonesian and English translations for all new text and features.

  • Internal Refinements

    • Cleaned up unused internal code to improve performance and simplify future updates.

November 12, 2025 — Overall Improvement of Dely Kit: "Send To..." Workflow, Report Exports, Regex, and More

This is a massive update! We're introducing powerful new features across the entire suite, connecting all the text tools, and fixing numerous bugs to make every tool more reliable.

New Features

  • "Send Text To..." Feature

    • No more copy-pasting between tools! A new "Send To..." dropdown in the editor toolbar lets you instantly send text from one tool (like Text Cleaner) directly to another (like Sorter or Word Counter). This feature connects all four main text tools into a seamless workflow.

  • Dely Compare: Full Report Export

    • You can now export a complete, shareable report of your code/text similarity analysis.
    • Multi-Format: Download your report as a PDF, XLSX (Excel), or .txt file.
    • We use lazy-loading for the export libraries, so this new feature adds no extra weight to the initial page load.

  • Find & Replace: Regex Support

    • The Find & Replace bar (in Text Cleaner & Case Converter) now fully supports Regular Expressions (Regex).
    • A new "Use Regex" toggle lets you perform complex and advanced pattern matching, searching, and replacing.
    • We've added clear error handling for "Invalid Regex" or "No matches" for better feedback.

Tool Upgrades

  • Case Converter: Now More Complete

    • The Case Converter has been massively upgraded with new advanced formats.
    • New Formats: Added iNVERSE cAPITAL, iNVERSE sENTENCE, and tOGGLE cASE (which swaps the case of every letter, just like in Microsoft Word).
    • UI Update: The "Fun Cases" category has been renamed to "Advanced Cases" to better reflect its practical use.

  • Number to Words: New Ordinal Mode

    • The Number to Words (Terbilang) tool now has a new "Ordinal" mode.
    • It can now convert 12 to "twelfth" (not just "twelve").
    • This works for both English ("first, second") and Indonesian ("pertama, kedua").

  • Word Counter: More Detailed Stats

    • The "Detail Stats" panel in Word Counter now displays more data:
      • Line Count
      • Average Word Length
      • Average Sentence Length

Improvements & Fixes

  • Text Cleaner: Logic Overhaul

    • We've fixed several bugs in the Text Cleaner.
    • No More Conflicts: Conflicting options (like 'Smart Quotes' and 'Remove Non-ASCII') are now in separate radio groups to prevent errors.
    • Smarter URL Detection: The tool is now much better at detecting URLs (like google.com) without breaking normal sentences (like file.name).
    • Punctuation Fix: The "Fix Punctuation Spacing" logic is now more reliable, especially around brackets and quotes.

  • UI & Navigation

    • Scroll to Settings: Added a "Scroll to Settings" button in Text Cleaner and Dely Sorter for easier navigation on long pages.
    • Accessibility: Added aria-label descriptions to all editor toolbar buttons for better screen reader support.

  • Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a bug where Word Counter used the wrong filename (...sorted-text.txt) when exporting.
    • Standardized internal variable names and logic across all tools for healthier code and easier future updates.
    • Fixed a bug where toTitleCase could fail on words beginning with an apostrophe (e.g., 'twas).

November 10, 2025 — New Guides, Smarter SEO & UI Polish

This update is all about improving your experience around the tools. We're introducing new in-depth guides for every tool, massive under-the-hood SEO improvements to help you find us on Google, and polished animations to make the site feel even better.

New Features

  • Introducing: In-Depth Tool Guides! You'll now find a brand-new collapsible section on every tool page (Word Counter, Sorter, etc.).
    • Get More Done: This section is packed with How-to instructions, detailed feature explanations, and FAQs to help you unlock the full power of each tool.
    • SEO-Friendly: All this new content is readable by search engines, helping you find the exact tool you need, faster.

Improvements & Fixes

  • Massive SEO & Visibility Upgrade This one is for Google, but it helps you too! We've completely overhauled our site's structured data (Schema).

    • Better Search Results: We now provide rich data to Google, making it much easier for new users to discover the right tool for their job right from the search results page.
    • Smarter Breadcrumbs: This also improves site navigation and structure.

  • Polished UI & Animations

    • Better Feedback: The Homepage "tool cards" now have a subtle "lift" animation when you hover over them, making the site feel more interactive and responsive.

  • UI Fixes: Fixed the order of menu items in the Header and Footer for better consistency.

  • Number to Words: Better Exports

    • Fix: The Number to Words (Terbilang) tool now uses a cleaner and more consistent filename when you export your results.

  • Smarter Routing & 404:

    • The site now auto-detects your browser's language and redirects you to the correct version (/en or /id).
    • All non-language-prefixed URLs (e.g., /case-converter) will also auto-redirect to your language.
    • A new, fully translated 404 Page has been added for any lost links.

  • General Stability

    • We've refactored and centralized a lot of internal code. This makes the entire application easier for us to maintain and upgrade in the future.

November 8, 2025 — Two New Tools & Editor Improvements

This is a massive update! We're introducing two powerful new tools: Dely Sorter and Text Cleaner. Alongside these additions, we've performed behind-the-scenes improvements to make the Undo/Redo function and the entire editor experience significantly more stable and reliable.

New Features

  • Introducing: Dely Sorter! A robust tool for sorting lists and text exactly how you want.

    • Sorting Modes: Sort by Alphabetical (A-Z, Z-A), by length, reverse order, or shuffle.
    • Advanced Options: Includes Case Sensitivity, Natural Numeric Sort (so '10' comes after '2'), and duplicate line removal.
    • Column Sorting: Even supports sorting by a specific column (e.g., sort a CSV by the 2nd column).

  • Introducing: Text Cleaner! A comprehensive tool to clean, format, and prepare your text.

    • Powerful Cleaning: Remove HTML tags, fix spacing, strip emojis, remove punctuation, and more.
    • Smart Protection: It's smart, too! URLs and emails are now protected so they don't get broken during cleaning (e.g., google.com stays safe).
    • Integrated Find & Replace: Includes the same powerful Find & Replace tool from our other editors.

Improvements & Fixes

  • Massive Undo/Redo Stability Overhaul We've rebuilt the editor's history system from the ground up. Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo are now significantly more reliable across all tools.

    • Fix: Using the "Clear Text" button now correctly saves to history, so you can "Undo" if you clear text by mistake.
    • Fix: If you accidentally load the wrong file, you can now safely "Undo" to get your previous text back. Your work is no longer lost!

  • Unified & Improved Toolbar

    • Consistent UI: The toolbars (Undo, Copy, Find) now have a consistent look, feel, and function across all tools (Word Counter, Sorter, Cleaner, etc.).
    • Accessibility: Improved dark mode contrast and added ARIA-labels for better screen reader support.

  • Case Converter: The "Sentence case" function is now much smarter. It correctly handles new lines and no longer breaks URLs or links (e.g., google.com will no longer become google.Com).

  • General Stability: Centralized all internal code to improve application speed, reliability, and maintainability.

November 5, 2025 — Case Converter Launch & Stability Boost

The main focus of this release is the launch of the new Case Converter tool and significant improvements to application stability and user interface across the board.

New Features

  • Introducing a New Tool: Case Converter! A powerful new tool to instantly change the capitalization of your text into various formats:
    • 15+ Conversion Options: Supports both standard formats and specialized cases like camelCase, snake_case, Title Case, CONSTANT_CASE, and Alternating Case.
    • Integrated Features: Supporting features such as Undo/Redo, Import/Export Files, and Find & Replace can be used easily.

User Experience (UX) Improvements

  • Faster and Smoother Editor:
    The Find & Replace functionality appears directly within the editor (in-line). This makes searching and replacing text faster and more intuitive.
  • Improved Dark Mode Display:
    Accent Colors: Interactive elements such as checkboxes and radio buttons now use colors that match the active theme, making the interface more consistent.
  • Under-the-Hood Enhancements (Stability):
    More Reliable Application: Fixes were applied to the core structure to ensure all tools (like Word Counter and Number to Words) operate with greater stability and reduce the likelihood of errors.

November 1, 2025 – Number to Words Launch

New Features

  • Introducing a New Tool: Number to Words (Terbilang)! Convert numbers—including decimals and negatives—into words in both English and Indonesian.
    • Currency Mode: Accurately converts currency expressions (e.g., “Five Dollars”).
    • Batch & File Mode: Process multiple numbers at once from text, or import/export files (XLSX, CSV, TXT).
    • History: Automatically saves your previous conversions in your browser for future use.
    • Capitalization Options: Choose output formatting such as Sentence case, Title Case, lowercase, or UPPERCASE.
  • Changelog: This changelog is now available on the website and can be accessed from the Homepage or footer.
  • Word Counter now has a new metric, “Characters (no spaces),” in the detailed statistics panel.

  • Word Counter: Redesigned the toolbar (Undo, Redo, Case Convert, etc.) for a cleaner and more consistent layout, optimized for mobile devices.
  • Word Counter: The “Copied!” notification now appears more clearly next to the button.

October 29, 2025 – Dely Compare Performance Update

This release focuses on refining internal processes and improving comparison accuracy.

  • Dely Compare: Improved processing speed and display of DOCX files in the comparison modal.
  • Dely Compare: Text from PDF and DOCX files now uses a more efficient text viewer for smoother performance.

Bug Fixes

  • Dely Compare: Fixed a critical issue where spaces appeared in the middle of words extracted from PDF files (e.g., “w o r d” is now correctly “word”).

October 28, 2025 – Word Counter Launch

New Features

  • Introducing a New Tool: Word Counter! Analyze your writing instantly with complete word statistics.
    • Comprehensive Stats: Displays word count, character count, sentences, paragraphs, reading time, and speaking time.
    • Keyword Density: Measures 1-, 2-, and 3-word keyword density for SEO optimization.

  • Rebranding: The “Similarity Checker” tool officially becomes Dely Compare.
